Through the support I receive from affinity I can provide superior care to our residents. I know they are always on the end of the telephone to guide me if ever I am unsure and to encourage me in finding ways to best assist our residents in their life choices. But their support has made me feel cared for too. I feel they have enabled me to fulfil my potential and I genuinely believe that I couldn’t work for a more caring employer and this is reflected in how I care for our residents and the respect I feel for my colleagues. During the last six years I have been the Home Manager of Wolfeton Manor, during this time the home has been managed by Affinity Care Homes for the owners. Whilst working with Affinity Care Homes I have found that they have supported the home both at a management level and operational level.

Whilst under their management a considerable refurbishment of the home has taken place, with continued reinvestment in the building and business. They provide me as the manager support and assistance to ensure the home remains compliant with the relevant regulatory authorities, and assist the home to remain a leader in the delivery of high standard care for residents. Some business areas are best left to the professionals, we struggled with some of the Legal work especially handling our residents' legal matters. We appointed Affinity Care Management legal team who specialise in such diverse legalities leaving us to run the side of the business we know.
